KID BOAT BUILD SAIL PROGRAM TEAM

 

Peter Gonzales – Executive Director of KBBS is a native of southern California, and has been a resident of South Bay for over 45 years. Peter has grown up sailing six-foot boats made by his family in San Pedro, CA.  Today he is still a passionate sailor who sails a 17ft boat made by his close friend.  His interest in the KBBS program was sparked while acting as Rear Commodore of Fairwind Yacht Club in Marina Del Rey, CA. it was there where Peter Gonzales was responsible for the maintenance and up keep of a fleet of twenty boats ranging in sizes from 16-38 feet. Mr. Gonzales has worked on all types of boats, fiberglass, wooden, as well as boats made of ferro-cement.  Peter is an enrolled tax agent who owns his own practice in South Bay and has always wanted to build boats himself.

 Dave Bell – Engineer/Designer of Physical layout of boats being built.

 Glen Jagodzinski – Certified ASA Sailing Instructor is a resident of Southern California.  He has been teaching sailing skills to children for the past five years in Marina Del Rey. Mr. Jagodzinski has been an avid boater for over 40 years, growing up on the great lakes of Michigan.  Mr. Jagodzinski has a professional history within the automotive industry. He is mechanically inclined with experience in welding and electrical wiring.

Lisa Farr- Jagodzinski – Certified ASA Sailing Instructor – is a resident of Southern California, Lisa has been a sailing instructor for the at risk youth sailing program offered by the Boys and Girls Club of Venice and the Fairwind Yacht club of Marina Del Rey for four years.  Lisa’s professional history spans over two decades within the entertainment industries of music, film and television. Moving through the ranks as a performer to an assistant, to management and currently writing and producing independent projects. Lisa gained the work experience of all aspects of entertainment, from development to acquisitions, to the production and promotions of live, taped, film or recorded entertainment.
