This program is built around the concept of assisting teens to rebuild
and restore their lives while they rebuild and restore; classic and/or
antique automobiles, antique furniture, etc.
The program entails many different aspects to accomplish this over a seven week period a few of these are; Why bother? Life sucks! This section is presented by William H. Yarroll II Founder and Executive Director of the got kids? Charity. This part of the program addresses a whole array of issues teens face. Everything from pure pressure to lack of parental involvement in their lives. Team Building / Creativity / Communication This section is presented by Joe Harding, Vice President / General Manager of the Hacienda Hotel and Conference Center @ LAX. Joe teaches experiential learning activities geared to help you "think outside the box... that doesn't exist" and determine who you need on your team and why they need you on theirs. Money Skills for Life This section is presented by Nicole Houghtailing, Branch Manager of Wells Fargo. Young adults curriculum offers information about how to afford higher education, use credit responsibly, and become financially independent and self-sufficient. Curriculum for school age students meets or exceeds national educational standards for economics, financial literacy, mathematics, and English language arts.
