Our daily school / business intervention / advocacy programs help a recipient when problems arise in their life and they are unable to resolve the issues on their on. An example would be: 1) A local college has an elevator system that was continuously breaking down. Our recipient approached management at the college, explaining that as she has neither arms nor legs, the inoperative elevators made it impossible to attend class. After no results, we at the charity called to explain if they were not fixed immediately we would bring out local television media. The elevators were completely overhauled with new parts throughout the same day. |
